ZX venting

I have a 02 700 and I need a few vents in it to help in the deep snow. I have the windshield bag on it for storeage and I think that it blocks alot of air flow because it covers up the vents up there. So I was wondering what people have done for venting on their zx's without going to a mesh hood. Maybe even adding a couple of 2" or 2.5" vents right next to the guages is what I should do? Any help and or pictures would be great thanks.

The windshield bag should NOT block the air intakes.
Unless you have a differn't bag than we got.

I have these on mine. Depending on snow conditions - I think they help. But you still need to manually wipe the snow out every so often.

I tried an in-dash EGT guage, and that was a miserable failure. It steamed up to the point of not able to use. Jerked it out and installed one of them pop-in vents in it's place.

If your lookin' to just let some heat out - you can remove the kick pannels by your knees.

You should definitely get rid of those windshield bags, and find one that goes over the center of the dash. That will help your vents do their job.

I've also put the flo-rites in my dash next to my speedo.
