zx rev engine swap??

I have a 03 zx chassis 800 x HO that caught on fire. Motor is good and looking at buying a 2004 rev with a blown motor. Will mine fit in the 04 rev or is it a big mod???

Should fit . Just have to change the mounting plates and reeds boots. I'm rumming 05 reeds and boots on my 03 800 ho

It will fit with just the motor plate out of a rev. I am running an 01 bottom end in my 04. To get my electrical to line up I had to tap the holes for the reverse trigger coils, and I had to grind a small amount of aluminum from the case behind the stator to get the holes to index just right. Very easy mods to do.
