ZBROZ rear shocks, install questions.

I'm having some difficulty installing the front shock. I can't seem to get it to compress enough to fit into the bolting location, is their a trick to this? I didn't have any problems pulling the stock ones out, so I wasn't expecting any issue getting these in:face-icon-small-con

Also, is the reservoir suppose to be on the side like shown in this pic, or is it suppose to be in the centre? The top mounting hole swivels but the bottom one doesn't seem to move.

Instructions would have been nice for the mechanically uninclined like myself.

Any feedback much appreciated!

You could also try taking your limiter strap off, that will drop the front of the skid down but then you'll probably have trouble getting it back on haha

Res. on the bottom for the rear shock, but I put mine in the other way (rotated 180 degrees) so the clicker is easier to get at. For the front, I mounted the top, then used a very small ratchet strap to compress the shock slightly to get it in.

Thanks, I tried the ratchet, just didn't want to bend the shaft on the shock to the side it was pulling down on. I'll try again now that I know someone went that route as well.

Have you ridden it installed this way? Or have you had someone cycle the suspension to check clearance? Polaris had a few suspensions out there where the rear shock required the rezzi mounted on the downward side otherwise the track would rip it off when the suspension was compressed. Just a little fyi to look into..hate to see a great day cut short cuz of that!

Have not ridden it this way but thanks for the heads up. I will compress it and check the clearance.
