CHECKING THE MOTO sports channel the other nite, sidecar mx was on. First moto the leaders and the next 3 chairs are two stroke powered and ****tin' and gettin'. Tougher that tough to be running that hard that long with that load. Snow bike motor ?
When I looked it up, turns out they are using 700cc 2 stroke ZABEL engines. The company started out modifying the big MAICO engines for sidecar racing. After a few years this company developed its own complete motors. 700 cc 4 or 5 speed, I saw both in descriptions.
E bay has ignitions parts listed, fly wheels, ecu...........but not motors. ZABEL's website , not to complete.
Anyone got a line on these thing.
