We are building a 162" z1 turbo with a 280hp kit. Will post picks when finished. Demo rides will be available jan 19-20th in valemount. Will post time and location later. Hoping to build this sled and offer for under 17500. I am pretty sure we will hit our budget. Not bad for a factory turbo with 280 hp and full warranty. That's much less than any yammy or doo, I guess the real question will be how well it works . Have not seen many out there or heard much. Stay tuned.

finished

Stretch finished.

Here what is done;

boondocker hijacker
lowering gearing 57/63
tunnel extension and rail extension kit with 162" powerclaw track
D&D can
6" riser
adjustable weights 80-90grams

sled is alot of fun around home running at 250hp, headed to the hills for final clutching setup this weekend. sled is listed for sale under arctic cat. will post reviews on monday. Sled can be tried out on Jan 22 between 9-12am at the the cabin on allen in valemount, if it has not sold.

weight

its heavy, not going to sugar coat that, but so is every other 4 stroke. I am waiting on our scale to arrive so I will weigh it then. As far as those wishing to ride it this weekend. Sorry riding blue river in an undisclosed loaction. It will be available for test rides jan 22 9-12 am at the cabin at allen creek or come by the dealership, you can try it out and our new cutler turbo build.

update

Had it out in the hills this weekend and it surprised everyone in the group in every aspect. It pulls very hard, doesnt stopp excelerating no matter how steep the hill. handles extremely well, very little front end steering push, you did not have to fight it to get it come over. very nimble for the weight and yes when it is stuck it is heavy, but riding is not alot of work like you would expect it to be. Super cushy on the trails, your wife could put eyeliner while riding the trail up or down! I let a 17 year old kid from blue river (Taylor) ride it the last day for the whole day and we boodocked in the trees all day almost and he could take that thing absolutly everywhere. You would have though he was on a light weight mod. stills needs a bit of work in the mid range, but the bottom torque is amazing and the top end legs are endless. This is truly an exceptable alternative to the othe turbo fourstrokes out there, only with a factory setup. We rode it at 230 hp and in 3 feet of fresh.

turbo sleds

yes, mcx nitro 180 kit, culter m8 pump gas, both dialed and working very well. maybe not a fair comparison but, as far as price range goes they are on an equal playing field as far a cost.

Cutler kit

2011 m8 162 pump gas cutler, flawless tune. Z1 turbo would pull it every time. I would love to have the m8 for boondocking and then the z1 for pulling the big hills on big snow days

Hey Supra, whatever happened to the standalone ECU production? Still would love something like that for my M1200 and M1000 sleds.
