I built this sled for my 6 year old about 1 1/2 years ago. He just turned 8 and I am moving him up for next season. The top speed at the current gear ratio is 24mph. It is geared for off trail and mountain riding. I would gear it lower if they were just playing around the house, and gear it higher if we only rode trails.

The motor was purchased from Recreational Motorsports with the stage 2 performance kit. That includes a shaved head and pipe giving the motor over 8HP. The stock motor had less than 3.5hp.

What carb is on those things?
What are you using?

My Kehin +/-20mm round slide took a crap.
Can't replace needle and seat. Can only replace whole carb.

Need a new one.
Can't find one at all.

that little thing is awesome! Looks fun to have your kid out with you in actual mountain/tree riding conditions! I'm for sure building something like that someday if I have kids. Looks like a great experience, for them and you

Sled

Nice clean sled. Just wondering if you still have it. Do you still have the stock motor? Let me know I am very interested.
Thanks:Scott
