Do you mean to say that somebody stole it or that you just didn't put it in your pack. If you know right where you were parked, maybe you could locate it with a metal detector.

Maybe it's not a good idea to block anybody in!

Well,just like I knew would happen a bunch of people left me negitive unsigned rep for voiceing my opinion.
One of them put that it is not my business what he packs and that is 100% true.It is my business if he is careless enough to lose it where anybody could find it and shoot me with it.
I fully agree with the right to carry a gun in this country.I just don't see the point in a 44. That gun is made to destroy what ever it is aimed at,not just protect the user....

It doesn't matter if its a 44 or a 380 he has the right to carry whatever he wants. Just the same as someone can ride a stock sled or ride a 400 hp turbo apex they all can get the job done. One just does it better than the other. If your forced to use it destroying is what should be on your mind. No reason to flame anybody, he learned a valuable lesson here about responsibility. all we can do is pray nothing worse happens with the firearm.

Hey everyone, This is the gun with a few less upgrades I won't discuss on the forum.
I know I made a mistake and I'm sure I'm being harder on myself than you know. Even with all of the neg reps from some of you that think I'm an idiot, you're right and I'm sorry if you don't feel safe riding anymore??
What's not going to happen here is me getting roped into a gun debate, I said I carry for personal reasons and I think more people do than you know. This has been beat to death on this forum and if you want to read my opinion, look it up.
And as far as why a .44, my other pistol is a 50 cal with an 8" barrel. Don't block me in...
Thanks to those of you that are looking out for me and uderstand I made a mistake, I feel aweful and hope it doesent get in the wrong hands for all our sake. For those of you that want to flame me, have at it and have a nice day.

I know a lot of people carry while riding, doesn't bother me at all. One thing to keep in mind though. In Washington it is illegal to carry a loaded firearm, "In or on a motor vehicle." Just food for thought. For those with a concealed carry, immediate control?

For the record, I would not/did not leave you negative rep for voicing your opinion(I always sign mine anyway; good or bad!). Many in my family have served and some have paid the ultimate price for you to have that very right! I would not dishonor their memory by expecting any less for any citizen of this country, regardless whether I agree with that opinion or not.
Not true if you have a concealed pistol license.
RCW 9.41.050
(2)(a) A person shall not carry or place a loaded pistol in any vehicle unless the person has a license to carry a concealed pistol and: (i) The pistol is on the licensee's person, (ii) the licensee is within the vehicle at all times that the pistol is there, or (iii) the licensee is away from the vehicle and the pistol is locked within the vehicle and concealed from view from outside the vehicle.
It is however not legal to have a loaded rifle or shotgun "In or on a motor vehicle." RCW 77.15.460
