So I had my hood off cleaning power valves. Putting it back together I hear a plastic tinkle. I had broke the retaining clip on the wiring harness of my 12 pro. It does not want to stay together so I fixed it with a few wraps of electrical tape. It is bothering me a little, thinking of heat, moisture ect, what are your thoughts?

Try a zip tie and all will be good

Yes I have, and second the ziptie approach.

I used black electrical tape on my '11 Pro and never had a problem. Haven't snapped the clip on my '13 --- yet.
