First off... I'm going to start with a post of gratitude... seeing as how it is Thanks-giving.
The opportunities that I've been blessed with to meet amazing fellow riders and human beings has been one of the best surprises for me in recent years.
From riding the peaks around Whistler with new friends, to dragging out a sled from the pow in Idaho....Shredding my home range in the Sierras and testing new sleds with Polaris Industries at Daniels Summit. And everything in between.... And experiencing this all with new people in new places on a regular basis.
Praying for snow, riding bottomless blue-bird days, wrenching, cussing at my task at hand, fixing stuff I broke, .... Talking on the phone with mfgs of killer parts , all of it... I love this sport of ours.
Saying prayers for all those that have had a rougher course in life than me... never forgetting that whatever I do, life is a gift.
I often find myself getting sucked into the spiral of negative emotions related to it...and talking about that here... but isn't that true for anything we are passionate about?
So again... THANKS...
