Yeti Fuel Can !

Summitboy... did you order a Yeti kit for this season?

Nice looking fuel can. I like the integration into the tunnel and the quick release.

When will they actually make the can and mount?

Now that looks totally -- Awesome this stuff takes snowbiking out of the backyard. Them Boys just build good looking stuff.

Now do you also make a 2.5 gallon one. It be hard to burn a tank +4.5 gallons in any 450F in one day.

You don't have to fill it full but nice to have the option. I always carried 5 gallons spare on my 520 KTM, I didn't get into the second can vary often but it did happen so nice to have the fuel, plus it could come in handy lighting a fire if you end up spending the night some place.

Thanks for posting. I've been wondering about the gas can. Their website mentions a gas can but haven't found any pics

It's pretty hard to deny that these guys are thinking and listening to the extremists . Packing those little containers for some will leave a nagging in the back of the mind about pushing it just another mile in .

There's always the option of stashing it and top off on the way out .

So here is a prototype in hand tank. Light and holds fuel for the mighty 500 LOL. It sure will look sweet compared to those bricks we are so used to seeing. The tank will not sit on the tunnel which is a good idea. No scratchy scratchy ! Also the way it is latched should keep it from flying off the bike which i always thought was ridiculous for a 140 dollar gas can LOL. Not sure what Yeti has chosen for a color but red or white come to mind.

Super cool, sleek design, but damn it's big! I know you don't have to fill it up all the way, but it's still a monster.

It it secured in the front like in the picture and on the back there is a mount and a quick release pin which isn't in the pictures yet. Works good. Won't need a strap like on my Mountain Addiction etc
