Yep, start in the middle. Then, if it's like my 2020 manual, the users manual should have charts explaining how changes effect handling. Then you can make changes in the field and feel the changes as you go. Hard to make the time when you are excited about a new kit, but make yourself spend some time messing around methodically as the time is well worth it. Then you'll know what changes to make for various conditions and can make them confidentally and quickly the night before or at the trailhead.

i will reed the manual one more time but not sure i did see shock setting and effect

i went 10 or 12 click out to begin . that is midway in setting

and i did not mention , it my first snowbike and i set it up by myself . 500 exc 2018 new from this spring . yety is 2021

C3 peeg , heated bars , thermostat , vortec and C3 snowbike flash , 0,70 front spring . still wait for antigravity 801 battery , C3 air filter and hand gard . should be a good first snowbike

Popped out to the Yeti website to look at the 2021 manual. Yeah, not much in there. It's on Page 20. Since it's your first, I'll point out you definitely want to take the time to do the strut setup on page 16. That has the biggest impact on handling (better deep powder and hill climbing performance or better low speed handling, more front ski pressure or less, more stability or less, etc.

There are more details on the shock themselves (what each setting does) in the Elka Owner's manual on the Yeti website. Generic, but does go through the shock settings.

By the way, don't worry about the "Sad" emoji left above. They are usually unintentional and just from people scrolling with a phone or tablet. They are in a bad place and annoying, so a lot of accidental emojis get left, but is what it is. We live in a social media world, now, so even forums have to have "happy, sad, angry, like" feedback on every little thing. Ha.

Nice bike and setup. Besides the items you mentioned, slap an engine blanket, rear engine blanket and radiator covers on their and you should be ready to run!

yes i did set up the suspension at just bit lest that 1/2 inch back rail up like yety manual .

for blanket , i will probably will need some and i have pro billet design rad gard so will put piece carton in front if motor run on the cool side . will probably need temp gage also . my fan still on the bike for now .
