my sypathys goes to the family. Im not sure of all the details but i do know they couldnt get to him fast enuf with a ambulance or anything. Even rideing the flatlands like we do you can get seriously hurt and worse.

I had a couple friends riding in the group at the time of the accident. They said they were riding into the sun and he hit a rock and got ejected and landed on another rock pile.

This family is going through some tuff times. My thoughts and prayers.

Riding here on the flats we don't have to worry about avy danger, but we almost always take for granted how dangerous it is running balls to the walls across fields with ruts, jumping approaches and running right next to fence lines and trees trying to stay ahead of your buddies. We haven't had anyone around my area killed for a long time, but in the last few years we had a few paralized and a couple permanently screwed up.

we have been lucky around here to besides me breaking my leg due to hitting a rock one year ago today. we have been fortuanate. Most of the time you think theres nothing there or i am invincible, well were not invinciable and there might be somehting in that little drift you alway have to be carefull on the flats.

nope i let it go. Ive been doing good still cant bend my knee completley but it works and i can still ride so its all good.(besides all the med bills)
