Personally, I look at it like this.
In 2012, America will still exist, we will be still fighting the administration, and we'll vote them out. We'll all be saying, boy, that was stupid, but we made it through it and now we know better. We'll have a conservative president, whether he's a Republican of Democrat, he (or she I suppose) will be far more conservative than Obama.
I'll compare the current administration to a night of drinking. Obama is Tequila. It certainly sounds like a good idea early in the night...hmmmm....tequila! But after a few hours, you start feeling bad, this tequila certainly doesn't sound like a good anymore. You lay down, have bed spins, you think your world is going to end, you're going to die. But you press on because you know you have to to hold yourself together. Pretty soon you make that mad dash to the toilet because you know its coming. You "vote out" the tequila and pretty soon you're feeling better thinking "damn that was stupid, I'll never do that again". You'll still be hung over for a while (tequila plays a MEAN second half) but you'll get over it quickly and be more knowledgeable for the experience.
