Quick question. I ordered new injectors for my 11 pro because I still had the blue ones. I ordered them not really knowing there was 2 sets of yellow injectors. ones I ordered are for a 2011 pro. They are yellow injectors part #4013046-053. Then I noticed for 2012 they have different yellow injectors part #4013258-053. Is there a difference in these 2? Is one better then the other and can you even run the 12 injector in the 11. I know I have to reflash the ECU.

For 2012 Polaris changed to a BOSH injector. Maybe they had reliability issues with the 2011's? The 2012 can be ran in a 2011 but the hole they mount into is a different depth. Need to put a green o-ring /spacer on the nozzle end of the 12 injector to seal up correctly and have to take off 80/1000 or so for them to tighten down correctly. And like you've stated reflashing the ecm

Just put the yellow ones in for your year sled! I did it to my sba last season and it took that stumble out in that it had in that mid to w.o.t
I haven't had any problems with my blue injectors. But since it was summer and Im putting in a new LR motor figured what the hell and upgraded to the yellow injectors.
