Yellow Engine light on 06 Rev??

What would make the Yellow Engine light come on going down the trail on a 06 Rev??
Doesn't run any different, not overheating, just the light comes on....stop the sled and restart and it goes away
Please help.

Hi I bought 2 weeks ago 07 rev 800 and had same problem so I took my sled to dealer since i have 2 years warranty on that thing and ask them to check what is going on ,so they check all conections and as soon as they did that problem went away.

There is a sensor on top of the air box that might have come undone. Just happened to a friends. Plugged it back it a off we went!

make sure you are not over heating or running lean causing detonation.

That is what I was wondering, not overheating, it may be the DET sensor? What could be done to stop it. We always run Premium fuel and the elevation is about 3k feet when it seems to do it the most often??

Put a rubber washer under it if you think it is going off prematurely.
