Yamaha Vmax 600 track???

D
RIGHT]
I was wondering if you can put a 1.75" or 2" track on a Yamaha Vmax 600 without changing the drivers or lowering the suspension? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

What tooth drivers are in it now? Current lug height? How much room do you have now between the tunnel and track, front heat exchanger and track?

You didn't say what year V-MAX you have, I assume it's a 97 and up trailing arm sled.
I ran a 1.75" lug Camo challenger with 9 tooth driver's on a Viper. Viper is the same basic pro-action trailing arm chasis. It's close, approx 1/4"-5/16" clearance between the lug and front heat exchanger. Works fine with no rubbing, although it's a bit of a PIA installing the drive axle!
If your sled has tunnel protectors, they must be removed first.

v max track

I had a 97 mountain max and I put an 1 1/2 on it with the stock 9 tooth drivers and then i stretched it out and put a 2 in on it and I put anti ratchet 8 tooth drivers on mine it did not hit for me worked great sounds like some people are going to argue with me but i am telling you what I did

Yep I gotta agree with these last 2 guys ^, i put a 1.75" on an 02 viper and it really was PITA to deal with the jackshaft. Also had a 97 vmax 600 with a 1.5" and it cleared ok. Not sure how much more room was left for clearance tho.

btw, i think MTNVIPER helped me out with that 02 Viper excursion a few years ago, so thanks man:beer; If I knew how to dish out reps Id give ya some lol
