yamaha viper track change.

yea i got it done, when pulling the drive shaft i didnt have to pull any wheels off, instead i pulled the entire chain case breaks and roter, seemed alot easy since i dont have any kind of a press, thanks for the tips though....

Sounds like you were trying to do everything backwards. Normally you disassemble chaincase after removing skid (rear suspension), remove chaincase and left side driveshaft bearing, and slip out driveshaft with track. Alot of people forget the Torx or Hex screw on the inboard (tunnel) side of the left side driveshaft bearing.
 
just changed the track on my viper last month first time was a slow go but definatly learned a few things rode her the other day and the track didnt fly off so everything is good .
