Yamaha Clutch Types

Anyboby have a list of the types of clutches on certain units? For example there are YXR + YVXC I need to know what type a 2008 Nytro is and I need to know what type a 97 SX 700 is. Noboby seems to know...

They are pretty close to the same clutch...tho...
in 1998 Yamaha changed the primary spring cover to a taller design to accomodate the newer style primary springs. All sleds had this cover by 2000.
The 4 stroke sleds use a different spider that has slots cut out in the spider arms so tha larger 4 stroke weights will clear.
The earlier primaries will work on a 4 stroke with aftermarket or 2 stroke style weights & make sure your using the tall cover.
