Once again thanks to Yamaha Canada for an awesome weekend in Revelstoke at Yamafest. As usual Yamaha was top notch providing demo's of the 2009 line up, promo gifts: Long sleeve shirts, hats, key chains, toque's, model sleds and the list goes on, as well as dinner for 150 to 200 people at the Hillcrest resort. We as consumers sure appreciate what you do for all of us riders, clubs, BCSF, current Yamaha owners and prospective buyers. I'm sure i can speak for all that attended, we had a great time and as said above we really appreciate your commitment to the sledding community and all the recent support !

Here's some pic's of the fella's in the chutes on Saturday, photo's taken by Jason Earl.

Enjoy.

going up those chutes one thing... but going up those chutes being 4-5-6 guy dealing with the ruts has to be twice as difficult. Pictures look great! See ya at the bdso.

stray, glad to c u try so many times, you will get it next time. The pic of the sled heading downhill is alls yours, i have more pics of that run. The last two runs i was at the bottom with u. nice meeting new snowwesters..

Cool pics J. I still can't get over the save that Josh made at the top of the chute, he actually was going down for a while and turned it back up. I think he was trying to pick up speed to turn it back up.LOL The turn Laird made at the top was pretty crazy. That was the first successful turnout I have ever seen in Monster. Mike and Ty compared elevation and it is almost exactly 1500 ft from bottom to top.
Thanks again to Yamaha Canada!!! Class act for sure.

Thanks a million for the good times once again!! Last weeked was a class act all the way around. Riding with all you boys takes riding to a hole new level!!.... I love it. Jason, nice pics of all the boys kickin a$$.

Just looking down the chutes from the top is scary enough, you guys are nutz climbin that stuff, very impressive!!!!

Man, cant say enough about yamaha! They really care about our sport, and are puting money up to show it. Not only promoting their product but helping out the clubs any way they can. Big thanks to them.

The event keeps getting bigger and better each year with no signs of slowing down. You get to ride all the next years iron and then they treat you to a excellent dinner, give you shirts a drink ticket. Man if this was amsterdam!! LOL

The boys in the chutes put on a wicked show! I love sitting at the top watchin everyone cheer on the next guy comin up, then helpin him out if he needs it. Boy what a climb tj made with that nitro, I was proud for ya neil. Now cal thinks he can do it in a couple years haha. The one and only rinder, cho chooo!!! awsome rite over never a doubt. Lapper always lets you know he can pull a side hill you know you couldnt do, lol. The boys from impulse, climbing with those skids was a rodeo ride, fun to watch. Steve made it look like a cake walk. The laird, and scoots both climbed it with 153 tracks and stock skids yeehaw! Josh did it with his own style and made the save of the day in the monster, rite on. Stray..... man slow down a little dude! lmao Rip n tear it was fate for not rock paper scissors! lol man never seen a sled dummy a guy on top of his head like that ha. we will head down there next year and nail it again. Rock paper scissors? Earl took the nitro and blasted up the gash for big air of the day but was a sled width off so had to coast over, made it look easy. Not sure on the names but props to the two guys on the cats that tried stickin up in there also, good footy.

Once again it was a great time had by all, already cant wait for next year. Thanx to all those that helped get me turned around in that lil chute, ha.
Cheers

PS the chute will get a G rating, "Irmens Arm"

got to give a huge credit to yamaha for promoting the sport, guess there new motto should be "our sleds r putting it over the top" and good to see the commadrie also boys. maybe it's time to hang the old poo, cause i know you'll yank my ski.

Awesome pics and what a great weekend at Yamafest!!

As mentioned above, thanks to Yamaha Canada for putting on such a great event and for all the support they provide to the snowmobile clubs and sledding community. I think everyone will agree that this sport, as well as the friendships and good times that come along with it are priceless!!...and it's support and events like this that will truly help to keep this sport around and make it that much more fun for generations to come!
