I am working on my yamadoo and i have a few questions from the yamaha guys.

1. Where should I mount the battery, under the seat is not a option, either next to the chaincase, or in the nose of the sled. Looking for opinions on which way will balance the weight better.

2. Also how does a guy use a surge tank on the sled. Does it need a small low pressure pump in the main tank or can it be gravity fed to the surge tank? Also how big should the surge tank be? 1/2 gallon?

Here are some pics of what I am doing to give an idea.

mount it right in front of the motor on the back of the nun..if your running a smaller battery, should be plenty of space up there.
and trust me, your gonna want a LITTLE weight up front, they do like to wheelie some, or so I hear.

as far as a tank, I just ran a single high pressure pump off the SDI tanks, that worked out awsome. OR, you could be really cool, and just run the factory sdi intake surge pump deal.. I was really curious about that, just never went anywhere with it.
