Well Well Well, We were sure in for a nice surprise leading up to the Puyallup Snow Show this year weren't we! Measurable snow and slick roads on Chinook Pass for those of us who decided to go that way were a welcome, albeit a little concerning sight and experience! I will admit, I'm very glad that the snow subsided just enough that the WSDOT didn't have to close the pass for the trip home. With the mountain tops white, and continued cold temps on the way, it's only going to get better as we lead into the start of the 2017 season, and it couldn't have come soon enough!

I would also like to share my excitement with another sled related matter that the club has been working hard toward for years, the new North Fork to Jackass trail is under construction! If you have seen any of the pictures floating around Facebook, you can see that work is progressing quickly and we're going to have a great new trail at our disposal very very soon! More on that to come at the meeting.

As we are now getting closer into the season, we'll be discussing plans for the December 10th Crab feed as it is the next most urgent event for the club. Keep in mind if you would like to help out, please volunteer for a position, we can never have too much help for this one. Also, we will be looking to begin collecting prizes and can also use help there too, more on that to come at the meeting as well.

I'd also like to advise you that if you haven't already got your sleds ready for the snow, you had better get on it! I'm happy to say that my old 900 is once again ready for the hills and should be on the snow VERY soon!

I was planning to keep this newsletter short, so I'll wrap it up at that. I hope to see many smiling faces at the meeting this coming Tuesday November 1st at Bob's Burgers & Brew. As always, the dinner hour starts at 6pm with the Meeting to start at 7pm.

LET IT SNOW!!!!!
