Y pipe rtv slicone?????

I went to auto zone to buy some of the red high temp rtv but as I was checking out I noticed that the max temp in 650 deg. It this still safe to use this to seal the Y pipe to the cylinders? Don't the temps get allot higher?
I did a search and couldn't find anything.

That stuff is rated at 700 deg. It must be safe if it worked for you.

Copper Permatex is the only thing I found that will last on the pipes.

Even the copper stuff on mine works its way out, must be from the vibration/heat....
