Try to make it. Good place to test the new sleds and setups and get advice for your sled. Hope you can make it a good turnout!:D

Ski Doo, Polaris and Yamaha! I'm gonna wrap my hand around that turbo Dragon and see what it's made of!

It's too bad you only get about ten minutes on the sled on hard-pack snow. Yah, great the turbo sleds will do 100+ on hard-pack. I wish they'd give you an hour, so you can really test the machine on some hills. Course that's probably a wreck waiting to happen. Don't they sell Arctic Cats too?

Directions??

Could you tell me how to get there? We always park at the Grizzly Creek parking lot, I have never been to the Muddy Pass lot.

Thanks!

Just keep driving on Hwy 40 towards Steamboat, once you hit Rabbit Ears pass you'll see signs for Muddy Creek, it's only about 5 miles past the Hwy 14/40 intersection.

Conditions????

So what are the conditions like for the demo rides??? I'm driving up from Ia. and also going to do some riding as well..... :D

The MC Lot is the first right hand turn once you get to the top of the East summit. You can't miss it!:D

I guess I stand corrected. Looks like there may be at least a foot of fresh at the ears. 7 inches at the ski resort = 12-14 at the ears. I hope that's the case anyway.

nope! I was up today, more like 7-14 centimeters.

I was there today too, 3-4 inches near MC parking got deeper further north and Buffalo Pass area near the tower had a foot or so. 10.5 feet on the stick up there. Was great day wish could make it back tomarrow.

Just back from the Ears

I just got back to the hotel from riding up at the Ears today. I was up there with PJ and XC700116. We got some decent rides in today but I wish the snow was deeper. When we left, it was snowing pretty good up at the Pass. I hope it will keep up for some fresh snow tomorrow.

XC700116 managed to break the Turbo Dragon!

Someone had a head on wreck while demo'ing the Nytro and took that out of commission as well. There was no shortage of carnage that is for sure.

To be fair to XC700116, it wasn't his fault that the t-bo Dragon broke. The weld on the intake pipe let go so it really wasn't his fault.

XC700116 will post some of our pics a little later tonight. It's :beer;:beer;:beer; time now!!!

Whoever was riding that Nytro got his a$$ chewed good by some chick who came walking up as I rode by lol

Went back into area54 and I think we got to this hill. Is there a bigger downhill right to the right of this pic? If so there was a friggin hole in it that bounce chucked my a$$ going down halfway to the bottom. Very ugly crash narrowly averted. The best part was Donnie doing his best "If at first you don't succeed" impression on this hill lmao. Who wants to go back and play on this. That drop to the left is a monster but it can be done ;)

WTF? Those are good pictures I took two years ago! Let's see some of yours from today? How high did the 121 get? Did you even dare to drop to the bottom? J/K:) How's that rock pile in the middle this year? Getting covered up yet? Don't ya just love those ***gin ledges the spodes dig:D That chute way to the right of those rocks is a sweet one. Call me when you drop that Duke, I get real good cell service up there and I can call in the flight for life. lol If this snow pans out i'm gonna try to make a mid week trip.

That hole won this time

I found that hole as well, but I wasn't so lucky.
Had to hike out and I am going back in today to put the sled back to together. So if you are wondering whose M1000 is sitting in the tree island, that would mine. Nothing quite as bad as watching ghost rider do some tree bashing.

All I can say is stay to the north side on the downhill run, because 10 ft holes in the middle of a very steep decent do not make for happy outcomes.
