For anybody who wants the same service that they got at Xtreme here are a couple places that are either owned by ex-Xtreme employees or have ex-employees working there.

Fastline Powersports - Sales and service 303-241-6852

Also Fay Myers is also set up to do snowmobile service now. They have an Xtreme tech who is certified on Ski-Doo, Polaris and Yamaha. Ask for Ivan.
Fay Myers

Be interesting to see how Fay Meyers does. I know guys that swear they will never go back there. I had a friend who rode a Ducatti sport bike and absolutely refuses to go back. They were overcharged and not happy with the service in general. Maybe things have changed but one of the biggest problems I heard is that you don't always have a tech who is knowledgable in your make (Polaris) working on your bike/sled/cycle. If you have a Polaris and they are out of those techs, the Honda Guy will be doing the work, vice versa.

Just some food for thought. Maybe it has changed.

I gave the name of the tech WHO IS CERTIFIED IN POLARIS, SKI-DOO AND YAMAHA. Those are the 3 brands that Xtreme dealt in. It was just information and Ducatis are not snowmobiles. Chit, Ducatis are a breed of their own anyways.

I recently owned a Ducati(2007), and always trusted Erico for service/maintenance/mods.

Years ago, with an early attempt at buying a Ducati, Fay lost a sale to me over a $500.00 negotiation. This was during the fall season with 8 of that particular model in stock. They were for sale for hundreds less than I was offering weeks later! (not a mfg sale either) I bought an R1 and a snowmobile the next day and never looked back. LOL. Oh, the days....

However, I like FAY's parts department.
Lots of stock, they order stuff in fast too!

Good luck to the Xtreme guy who went over there - just be sure that you're working in the area that has good roof support for those spring storms!

;-)

That's great that he can work on all of them but come winter when Fays has all those Ducati mechanics in there sitting around and there are 30+ snowmobiles sitting there do you think Fays will allow them to sit there while the guy you named is backed up? Nope. So now you have a Ducati tech or Honda tech working on your clutching setup on your snowmobile.

Again, Your guy is probably perfectly capable but that doesn't mean he will be the one doing the work.

Vice versa there is now a chance a snowmobile tech will be working on your Ducati sport bike.

LOL.

Italian Engineering(def.)n: Looks Good. Doesn't Work.

I bought a sport bike from Fayes. I don't think I would take my sled there. I wish good luck to the guy from Xtreme that went there, but I'd rather my sled go to a sled shop. Fayes is a bike shop, or is now at least. Maybe if they become more of an established shop. I just wish someone would open a Polaris shop with the knowledge like Felker has for Ski-Doos and Eric has for AC's.
