Xtra gas

Looking for suggestions on carrying 5-10 gallons of extra fuel on my sled for longer backcountry trips...like Pemberton, Revy, etc.

Can't find any non-leaking cans...New Carb cans suck....options?

Also how are you mounting them?

Strap 2 - 5 gal cans to your running boards across your tank.
After the ride in, find a place to stash the cans, top off your sled and go ride.
Plan to get back to the cans on fumes, use whats left to get back to the truck and strap the empties to your rear tunnel for the road/trail ride home.

Have done this going into Pemberton and our Secret spot more times than I can count.

Check out the powderkeg too....nice to have a compact 2.5 gal reserve under your seat too. :face-icon-small-win http://www.powderkegllc.com/

Canadian tire makes pretty good cans with a good spout. No carb BS, and the spout fits back into the can.
Gas racks are a dime a dozen, made by anyone, and sized to your tunnel/can size.

Go with 2 mountain addiction 3.3gal cans but make sure your tunnel is reinforced. I ride with 1 3.3gal can and their large bag on my nytro with the skins bumper kit and have had no problems.
