I went with the 2cool4u air vents. They look nice, and you don't have to buy the whole set. You can just buy a few pieces if you want. Awesome service too.
I love my 2cools, easy to install, look great, and holding up to the beating!!

Mountain hood vent kits (509) 218-1397. 5 piece for $55 shipped. 3 piece on clutch side, 2 on exhaust. Clutch side has the the finer pre filter material under neath the mesh if you want.. Also has 7 piece kit. Give the guy a call. Shipped out next day from Spoakane.. ABS frame with material resined on backside. Has sort of a websit if you do a search for Mountain hood Vent kits.. Bolted mine on with tit. screws, so I could R&R the mesh screen if I punch a hole through it. 350 miles of climbing and boondocking and works fantastic,,

We already have that one designed and ready to go - can make you up 2 black ones and ship them to you on Monday! 
We call that the blockoff vent.
Not sure WTH they were thinking when making all the nice stock holes in that sled, but we are happy to design what is needed.

2funGreat vents Al & Tammy, I am ordering another now (Pissed at DOO that it is MANDATORY for venting for the XP), but VERY happy 2Cool has the answer, Great product. I will try and post our installed pics.
Tammy, There is a MUST need for a new vent ,Specially for this years EPIC powder all over the west.
We need a vent over the triangle opening above the silencer/can/muffler (Another great doo design - WTF!). What do ya think ?? Doo-able and when ?

I helped Tammy design the Air vents for the XP and I have over 700 miles on both my sleds and they Work extremely.At first I was a little worried about the turbo heat that it might be a little to hot for the fabric but so far no troubles.

Scott at HPS makes a super vent package that I helped install on my brothers XP. It looks sharp and works very well.

I hear you on the can side. I will probably glue some satelite screen in there.
on my clutch side vent, i took a drill to it and then put the satelitte screen in.
i did order one 2 cool vent. My brothers vents the rivets popped out and flooded the clutch side with snow. He blew 4 holes in the clutch right after. Coincidence, i hope. lol

Hey Tim - were your brothers vents our vents? If so, didn't he use the rivet backers we provide? If he didn't, you really need to use those as that panel is too thin not to. Don't know if they will pop out, but it's not worth the hassle it can cause. If your brother had our vents and he needs anything to fix the issue, don't hesitate to call or email or pm!
