I want to get a tunnel bag for my 163 XP, but have heard/seen a lot of problems with the factory skidoo bags mainly the zippers coming apart. Just curious what the other options are. I saw some from Skinz gear, not sure of the quality though.

I saw quite a few last weekend on the XPs,,, they look like horse saddle bags, I figure they have a motor on one side, belts and drive shafts on the other, and last but not the least money for the Heli ride on the top!!!!!

Bag

I have been using the XP backpack bag. It mounts securely on the tunnel. You are able to tighten it up so that everything stays packed and doesn't move around. Because it has the backpack harness zipped on the inside on the bag bottom nothing gets wet. Zippers have been holding good. It is the best bag I have ever used on a skidoo.

And on the eigth day, God created idiots!

I have the BRP XP tunnel bag, and before I even used it the first time I had the zipper replaced with a heavy duty YKK coil zipper because I knew the factory zipper would freeze, break, rip, etc. I almost lost my shovel handle because the sleeve ripped out, now have to carry the handle inside the bag. A couple of weeks ago I looked at the BRP back back tunnel bag, and they were smart and added the heavy duty zipper to that bag like I did to mine, the bag also looks a little more rugged. down side it's a little smaller capacity then the full extended tunnel bag.

I put this one on, and it has a divider in the middle for a 6 pack on 1 side, and my snobunjie, extra gloves, and some food on the other.

Uhh...Chubby...I hesitate to draw undue attention to this point...but it would appear from the pics that your hose has gone limp...

I also got the xp backpack bag and so far so good( knock on wood). I like the fact that i can wear it if i choose and if the zippers fail i will get something a little heavier sewn on and walla done.
