XP Tool Pouch Carrier

Has anybody left the tool pouch holder on the clutch guard and just cut plastic flange off the tool pouch holder for more clearance?

Just wondering if by doing this you can remove & replace the guard easier.

For now i just took it right off and carry the tool pouch in my pack.

My dealer did that to his sled and he also took the plastic cover on the outside off. He said it works fine...

My dealer put the tool pouch on the other side of the sled and removed the tool carrier. He told me they were doing that to all of them to keep the clutch temp down... It is supposed to allow more air flow.

I took mine off of the belt guard, as it is gone too. cut it down, to the size of the tool pouch itself, and covered it with heat reflective tape. I then used velcroe to attach it in front and above the right toe well. works fine and allows air to the clutch area after installing vents.
