I need to replace my snow flap. I just got done taking the whole assembly off and thought I would ask for any suggestions before I throw a stock one back on. Does anyone make a better looking flap set up? Post pics or links if possible. Thanks!

Skinz came out with a snowflap this year for the mountain crowd.

modrods has a snow flap that is made just for the xp works great soft and short so you dont get drug down in the pow and makes it easy to get it off the bumper.

Just take the stock flap and cut off the bottom 3-4 inches( where it takes an angle back ) then cut the two bottom corners at 45 degrees. Thats what i did, looks great!

Grizz,

I trimed mine and it looks pretty cool. I followed the line and cut around the diamond shaped points. I will post a pic but its all i got right now. My sled is still put away for the summer... :(

Look close and you can kinda see what i did. Its alot better then stock for backing up too.

Chazzer...I did the same thing to my stock one, but it is broke and needs replaced. Anyone have a picture of a LED set up replacing the stock taillight?

i dont have an xp so this may sound a little ignorant but why does every freakin xp on the hill have a cut mud flap? whats wrong with them in stock form?

Because they get pulled into and caught in the track when backing up at full length. Trimming them alleviates this issue.
