xp pipes

I have yet to see a single that works better than the stock pipe, doesn't mean that they are not out there...Twins are making a few more ponies.., check with Port Grinder on the Forum, He has dyno'ed several.

Nope, sorry. I'm still back in the REV days. Out of the loop on the XP stuff.

Neil tried a bunch on my '06 860 on his dyno. Alot of pretenders, few contenders.

the only thing that people agree on is that any Y pipe without the dimples will add 2-3 horse. Personally i run an aaen pipe and can, dynoport Y. Works for me. Still waiting for jaws to release the twins for stock 800R XP. But IMO if you're into spending a little look at DJ clutch kit.
P.S. I probably would've bought dyno port pipe if it was released first. I lack patience.

I've used the Dyno Port, SLP, CPI, Ski-Doo twins and Jaws twins. the dyno port likes 8000 rpm, the slp noticable gains, and the CPI in my opinion works the best. Especially the '09. The twins dont work unless you run lots of compression, and radical timing to go with them.

If you subscribe to dynotech reaserch they have tested a few of the above mentioned pipes with interesting results... Interesting that bikeman's rev stealth bike is not on there!!!. I still can't believe I fell for that one... Anyways the information is well worth paying for. Help it helps.

09 800R pipes

Agree with W T/A.
The wife and I have identical 2009 Summit X 163's fitted with the 800R. Mine has the SLP pipe, Y and muffler since new. The wifes is stock. At 1600 to 7400ft the piped sled runs two-three clickers lower with 500 mains installed vs the stock 480 jets. Nice plug color, quiet and pulls very well from the bottom to the top.
I drove both sleds back to back on the same hills, same snow, new tracks and the SLP equiped sled definately put a smile on my face.
