XP metric to imperial conversion

Somehow during a ride last weekend, my dad's 08 Summit XP 800 switched from imperial to metric units. Can someone tell me how to switch it back? I assume there is a series of steps to re-program the instrument computer...the owner's manual simply says to contact a dealer.

I believe there is a connector that needs t be plugged in in order for te gauges to read in metric. I'm not completely sure though. If this is the case, it may have been knocked loose while riding......again, I'm not sure of this.

We have one in the family that did the same thing. Dealer could not fix. Tried connecting wire under dash, then disconnect but no change. Still reads metric.
I think it had a "pause" code when first started then goes to metric readings.
Anybody know whats up?

What The Heck Is Going On With My Gauge ...

The one I know of is an 05 800ho x.
