WTF?? Hood weight is a non issue on an xp!!Just like they weren't on the Rev, but people and Doo made a big deal about it on the XRS, etc...
Now side panels I can see some weight savings in.. but I think they'd be very prone to cracking as many times as a sled gets put on its side, simlply when carving..

I'm thinkin' SLP pipe, Fox floats, and ditching the sway bar to trim weight on mine.
I'm welding up side panels for mine. Cover them in mesh, and get the heat out. Don't expect any weight savings though.
