Got the new sowest and thay said what most of us have figured the hole time the xp is the king of the deep snow yes maybe thay get beet on the hard pack flat ground but win it comes to deep and steep besides the turboed yamdoo's the xp is the king. But the question is how do you guys like your xp's after a year under the belt?

Other than blown driveshafts??

Clutching does not count IMHO--all sleds need that as far as I am concerned--has for the past 35 years ayways.

H20SKE...

Since I fixed the clutching problem, I love my XP. It handles like a dream and I am amazed how good it works in the deep pow. That being said.....I am buying a Nytro and going turbo for next season. Will still keep the XP as a second sled. From Yamaha in the early 90's to Doo for the past 13 years and finally switching back to Yamaha.

I finally got my xp dialed in and if you are going to buy a yamaha we will see you at the bottom. i rode a stock nytro last week at franklin basin and it wouldnt do carves or sidehills like the xp and as far as climbing it didnt have the power to compete with the xp. so if you are going to waste your money buy a turbo for an xp.

....I flat out love mine. I knew going into the year that I was buying a first year machine, and that there would be some problems. Handwarmers didn't bother me, NEVER bought a belt, though I blew 5. The feel, and the power are what I enjoy.

But I also have a GREAT dealer. He welded up my shaft the first week of January, kept me in belts, untill the problem was resolved. I drive past one dealer to head up your direction, Xtreme. Wouldn't buy a sled from anyone else, unless I lived on the coast, then it would be Steel Dreams. IMO the dealer support made the learning curve of this sled a non-issue.
