I was about to order the Holz inner wheel kit for the xp tonight but decided i'd see what you guys prefer first.. Any of you had any experience with these kits and how'd they hold up and work? any noticable difference?

everybody is going to tell you to buy smittys 2 wheel kit, but you could just make you own out of your exsisting axle, if you do a search there is a thread on here explaining what needs to be done i did my own and it turned out very well.

To answer your question- I checked out the Holz axle in person and have only seen SLP in pictures. Both of them will get the job done. They are a pretty simple device (you can even make your own). However if you are going to spend $70 on a kit- Smittys Speedworks makes a rad product. I purchased my second Smitty axle this weekend. Annodized colors and a clean design.
20mm ICEAGE AXLE, $55. Use 2 of your stock rear wheels (20mm). Takes about 30minutes, i've done 3 of them.

Yep, smitty's works great. I made one out of my 2003 xz stock axle. It is possible but smitty made me the awesome pink one!
