XP front shocks on REV

Anyone ever try to put stock XP front shocks on a REV. I have an 05 800 and really need new shocks.......a buddy is willing to give me his stock fronts off of an XP in a trade deal. They seem too long but havent measured anything yet. Would it work?? Anyone try it??

Any help is appreciated!

Jake

They're not the same length. The XP is shorter by nearly an inch. May still work though.

They're both 17" ETE, IF we are talking XP Summit and REV Summit!

Have FUN!

Take one of your shocks off and measure eye to eye. If it is 17" center to center the XP shock will work.

I have a new xp everest and do not care too much for the front shocks they are really spongy, I can almost bottom them out when rocking it around in the shop even when they are set up on the stiffest setting. Some guys are atribuiting their broken chassie parts to this. So to answer your question they are soft too soft for me any how and I only weigh 160. But I am sure it is all personal prefrance.
