I sent 4 off and got reprogrammed a couple months ago. You don't have to send them to that company though. You can send them directly to skidoo race dept. Cost is $85 each

So why would you want to eliminate your det sensor ? and isn't the rev limiter kind of a good thing ?

Have you ever tried to run nitrous on an XP? The rev limiter is so low that the second you hit the button you're bouncing off of the limiter

Ya and the deto sensor is a pos if you are running a billet head. I had mine done by a different guy. How do the race shop box's work?

Well now that we know how much they cost. Do you know if they help performance on a stock sled?

I don't think that they will have much effect on a stock sled. Maybe an '07 or older because Tom has different curves built for them, but '08 and newer he says he can't improve much over stock. The main reason to do it to an XP is for running mods(head, nitrous, etc.)

I had my ECU done by Race Dep. through RKT when I had my 860 built a couple month ago. I dont know if the deto sensor is disabled.
