xp bulkhead??????

does anyone know of a stronger flying nun for the xp?? (2008) i have broken 2 of them and was only able to buy it with the bulkhead. i am thinking of having the aluminum fab shop in town build me one but if there is anyone out there that makes stronger ones i would rather go that way.

let me know

thx dan

The support from grip n rip as well as the race dept makes a very noticable difference.

The way I tie my snowcross racers together is by using a full length plate like an aluminum skid palte for a motocrosser. this supports the whole front modulae and allows NO movement of the cradle and NO cracking of the cast mounts.

My sport Rock maple championships this season were with 08 sleds with ORIGINAL modules and these skid plates.

seems logical and works,, just gets them little quebecers mad they,, think it is overkill,,,, yup I don't buy ANY modules so it must be..

looks like a good kit but my nun keeps breaking where the steering post mounts in not at the back where it mounts to the bulkhead... i think im still going to build one. ill post pics when its done

I am at the Unadilla ama national,, when I get home monday i will get you pics.. Yes I can make you one .. IF my BRP deal comes thru for snow x I will be making 20. If I get a better deal offer from CAT they will be on a to order basis.. only takes a few hours to build them..

I started last year working on a bracket to strengthen the nun area of the xp.

Its basically a cnc cut bracket that ties in the section between the 2 A arm mounts.

That diecast nun deal is a joke in the strength dept. lol

In a nutshell,, if your were to install 2 of the grip n rip brackets. One front and one as per instructions on the rear , then tie them together so any loads will pull (strectch) on the bulkhead rather than just spreading the gap between the front and rear a arm mounts.

If wildchild wants to make some or anyone else please feel free to.

I have an envelope from CAT,, nothing from DOO.:D:mad:

Kinda weird as DOO riders racing RMR and ISOC from my shop ( BSP ) won 12 championships as well as 3 ISOC pro women/ pro am classes in 2008-09:beer;:beer;.

In RMR BSP DOO riders claimed 12 championships, 8 seconds and 13 rds.
not a bad year end total,, and not even a howdy DOO from good ole canada!!:confused::confused::confused:
