XP after market seat?????

Ok, I know the topic has been covered, but I'm not having any luck searching for it.

I'm interested in an after market seat for an '08 XP 146". My issue is the width of the stock seat in the front by the gas tank. Being only 5'3" the inside of my knees hit just at the wide part of the front of the seat, not only causing bruises, but it affects my riding style. I rode with the seat off and verified that this is were the problem is. Of couse some storage would be a plus too.

So if anyone has some knowledge of an aftermarket seat with a narrow front, please let me know. Oh and I'm not interested in a BOSS seat, I'd like to have it this year and I'd like it to just replace the stock, not reinvent the attachment method. Thanks!!

might want to check out the new seat from BRP. 2 inches taller, much narrower, firmer foam. and about half the cost of BOSS and others.

i think its the seat off their race sled????

Hi Jod ! I think you might like the new race seat , you can buy just the foam and cover . It is 1.5 inches taller , not sure if thats going to be what you want... but it is narrower . sj

Not bashing here but my Mtn Mod release tab broke off on the weekend so nothing held the seat in place now back to my original seat I did like the Mtn Mod seat for its storage and ride grr.....

i have sat on many aftermarket xp seats (mountain mod, r&m, the new "race" seat, and boss) and i have a boss on my sled. BTW you dont have to cut the tabs off of your tank to install the boss seat just cut the foamin the bottom of the seat.
