I seized my mag side cylinder first ride of the year over new years. I took it back to my skidoo dealer they tore it down and they think its a fuel problem. They are going to warranty it, even though my 1 year is up. But according to my dealership the 10% ethanol is causing this. They suggest either adding octane booster or approx 1 gal of race gas per tank. I asked them about the reflashing of my computer on my sled. I believe that had something to do it. They claim it has no effect on the timing? Any way if you get your computer reflashed be prepared to lose your max rpm function. Why I don't know? But that is what the dealer is telling me. Anyway any more thoughts or suggestions please feel free to add to this post. My sled is stock accept for some extra venting in the hood. Why didn't this burn down last year? I was in exactly the same spot last year but it was about 20 degees colder last year. I should have melted it then? Weird?
