What gearing is actually in the 800 Everest. I've seen posts from guys with 163's saying they have different gearing than that advertised from doo. Anyone took thier Everest cover off and found out for sure what gears are on the 154 tracked summits?

I also just put in the 19/45.. Wow! We rode three days from pack to powder. It is a different sled with that gearing!! Wow.. It pulls WAY harder. I would definetly reccomend th 19-45 setup... Clutch heat dropped big time... No RPM change at all.. Still on clicker 3... ride 6-7000 ft..

About to do the same on my 154x. any clutching changes? How about tension what should I set it at?

I didn't change anything in the clutch yet, still waiting for beak in to be done. Tension? Belt or Chain? I assume chain.. I set my chain tension with the cover off and I just like to see a bit of play. Too tight can cause damage. Just examine the play before you take out your gears.. It should be pretty close..

Are you guys just getting your 19/45 gears from your dealer or where is the best. Also what is the best way to change gears I have never done this before. I'm just a youngun tryin to learn and I really want to reduce some heat in my clutches man those things get hot with that 21/45

yes, the 19 gear - 13 wide is the same as the revs. It's really easy to change. just make sure you torque up the bolt to the correct torque. There is no manual for it yet, but it should be around 25-30 ft/lbs.(guess) someone on here will know.. Tip your sled on its side so the case is perfectly level after removing your exhaust can and remove the cover change your gear and bolt her back on. that way you won't get oil everywhere.. You'll love it..

So the 07' Rev and the 08' XP use the same top gear? Just want to make sure before I order. Also someone mentioned 13wide, I thought the XP had the 15 wide hyvo chain?

is your sled stock? i tried it sunday and was not that impressed, im running a head and can with air box mods! thought it pulled harder off the line but i thought the 21 pulled harder mid up.

Yah it's stock, And yah it was like night and day. I'll be putting on Jaws Twins soon though...

Now that she is broken in, I've looked into setting up the clutching better and I am going to put in a 130-350 spring from the 160-320 that comes stock. I was thinking of taking out the M6*12mm set weights. Both these changes should bring up the RPM and then hopefully I can drop my clickers down to 2 or even better 1 from 3. This should increase my upshift and create better track speed. I was also thinking of drilling and tapping the lever arm and adding weight closer to the pivot for less low ratio slip... (might have to drop a bit more weigh off the end though if I do this)

Okay I called Goodwin and got some info for those who care. The top sproket is the same as the Rev's. Bottom sproket is all new, no aftermarket parts for the bottom yet.
