XP 6000K report

So my last big post was at 2500K, since then I had the drive shaft, (not surprising) go at around 3000K 2 sets of of ski leg bushings, primary arm, numerous rollers, aluminum shield on the muffler and I bent my tunnel. The tunnel I will take the blame for as I had 7.5 gals of gas on and went to hard over the cross ditches. The replacement shaft seems to be holding up but this is about when it went last time aand they haven't realyy done anything to make them better.. The primary rollers will last only 1000K maximum and I have been suprised at how quick the ski leg bushing have worn out and I even put on grease nipples. My sliders still look good which I would have guessed I would have needed to replace by now. I love riding it and did order a blue one for next season but if I didn't have backup sleds to ride it would have been a hard call to make. Right now BRP has no bushings, no motors and who knows what else and they aren't doing anything for the guys who's sleds are down. Come on BRP get your act together.

I just got the one 08 motor I was waiting for. They said a month out, I got it in 2 weeks. The bushings......they all go through bushings......my cats have been notoriously bad, replaced them all the time until I got a set of hard anodized bushings from CR. I haven't replaced bushings since. Chad has got to figure out what he needs for the XP cause what he sells for the Cats is awesome. Definately worth the money......and lighter too!

Love mine. Only did one engine frame, one front frame, one driver, one heat shield on pipe, two secondary adjuster's, two complete clutch rebuild's, two grip warmers, about 15 belts and lots of gas . No complaint's 1300 miles and all on BRP. Just wish every thing was not on back order for 3-5 weeks.

WOW, that's alot of time on the sled, do you ever get burned out??
I have to say that is a pretty darned good track record for ANY sled with that much mountain time on it....besides the driveshaft, but that is a known problem and supposedly fixed. That's 3-4 seasons of riding for most guys and most sleds are pretty well shot at that mileage.
I think most of the '08 engines are going in the '07's under warranty....one went in mine, 24 hr turnaround too!

I have 600mi so far on my800 163 and only problems I had was hand warmers and driveshaft replaced plus dealer gave me 2 belts 377 under warranty :)and they updated my clutch,so far so good and by the way my xp climbs like crazy.:face-icon-small-win
