Hey guys I could use some help with this recoil. I works good until I put it on the sled then it seems like it doesnt want to to turn the motor. If you guys could help with proper way to put it together that would be great too its on a 1996 xlt.

I would make sure the engine spins without it. The recoil is very simple and most of its workings are just to spin the rope back in there is a clutch in it to. Release it from the crank I would make sure it is orrientated correctly. I beleive there are arrows on it for this
