xcr 800 in edge

Is it true stock xcr 800 pipes will fit in a edge chassis with a aftermarket silencer? only reason i ask got a chance to get a set of stock pipes, some day would like to put a xcr 800 in a edge so would they be worth holding on to?

IMO! if you are going to all the work of installing an xcr 800 into and edge chassis, you are more than likely going to want to go with a set of aftermarket pipes also. If not and they are cheap, why not pick them up.

Hold on to the pipes as they will work with your conversion if you decide to do that. I put a xcr 800 triple in my edge last winter but bought HTG triple pipes because they said stock pipes wouldnt work,well over on hard core sledder a guy by the name of Ninja plummer has a kit for sale that allows the use of stock pipes. From what Ive gathered on stock xcr 8 motors theres really no gains with after market pipes and HTG pipes are around 1,000.00. Which ever way you go with the pipes weather its HTG or stock the stock xcr silencer works without any problems. Putting the tripple in the edge chassie is pretty easy swap just a little time consuming.
