XC 800 Hood Crack

I have a small crack in my 2005 XC800 hood and was wondering what the best route to go is repairing it. I spoke to an auto body guy and he mentioned some 3M epoxy for bonding body panels that is pretty tough stuff and is usually stronger than the material it is securing. Just wondering what others have used instead of the old zip tie stitching.

By a fiberglass repair kit at Wal Mart. cheap and easy to understand instructions. Done correctly it will be sronger than new.

Hood repair

Auto body supply houses sell a flexable epoxy for fixing car bumpers. That is what Polaris recommends. A screen material can be embedded in it for additional strength.
