X3 Gearing

To start off I don't own a PRO but the IQR forum is slow. I have an IQR with a Carls 910 (8300rpm), currently with a 2014 Pro skid and 155" Pro track, 8tooth 2.86" pitch drivers (21/45) gears. I am switch to a 156" X3 with avid 8tooth 3" pitch drivers. Anybody have any recommendations on gearing? I was thinking 19/45 gearing.

That track will fit in an IQR with 8tooth, 3pitch drivers?

What kind of clearance do you have now with the track that is more than 1/2" shorter (.600") and smaller drivers.

The 3"-lug/3"pitch track and the larger diameter 8tooth/3pitch drivers decrease your lug clearance by over 3/4" from what you have now.

Yep, I have plenty of clearance up front. The front cooler has been removed.

Even more room on the top than in front.

Either way.... 19/45 = 2.37:1

IMO
With the 3"...prob better to go to the 19/46 2.42:1

Whats' the clearance between the top of the lugs and the top of the tunnel for a stock pro?
