Wyoming Avalanche Report

12/4/2007 Warning...Heavy wet snowfall the past 24hrs has increased the potential of avalanches to VERY HIGH status on all slopes above 7500' throughout western Wyoming.

Since many riders who don't have snow in there riding area, and are coming to western Wyoming to ride this information should be taken serious. Further information is available at JHAvalanche.org.....It's 42 degrees and raining at 6500' in JH

Live to ride another day,

OT

Blind bull Alpine area low snow:p Great snow up north but heed the thread! To much to set up a terrain trap Be Careful!!! Great info THANKS

The webcam at the lodge looked like it picked us some pretty good snow the past day or so. I can't belive Alpine/Blind Bull isn't doing that good. Strange.

Here's keeping it up there.

Blind Bull might be lacking but im willing to bet Squaw Crk. and Murphy Crk. on the Alpine side have 4 plus feet if you could just get there.....The Snake River Range also has 4 plus feet but we can't get there either due to no snow at lower elevations

Places like Tog. are busy because you can unload at 8000 to 9000 feet.

Temps are dropping so maybe this snow go around we'll see snow at all elevations.

I think blind bull has more then snotel shows because where the meter is, is up on top of the summit and the wind blows almost constantly up there. I had some freinds that said they were pushing powder all day on Sunday, I could not go but the picture I saw looked pretty good.
