Wtf!!???

Are they starting to shut down riding areas?? I just read they closed Placer! Anybody got the skinny on whats goin on. Hey blondz, you seem to have the hook up with the forestry dept:rolleyes:, any info?? Gettin off the slope fri and needin to ride bad!! But it sounds like the snows ****y and they're shutting places down. HELP!!!!

Like you just said, your're on the slope and haven't seen the monsoon rains that we've been getting. I can't really blame them for shutting it down, as long as the open it back up once it cools down and snows again which I am sure that they will.

we had 2 days of straight heavy rain.

the whole SE flatlands are ice

Terrible conditions. I want to ride myself but just dont know where. I guess north is where its at now.

so far i know of placer and 20 mile are closed... but, were going south this weekend.. we'll see how the snow is.. :)

Hockey= I have been wondering how LL is. BUt since its been 40+ the last week and raining down low I can only imagine how firehouse trail is + the high winds and temps make me question the snow.

I would love to find some nice deep powder to ride.

When riding at Hatchers last MOnday we found some deep snow but with the warm temps it was so thick and heavy that you just couldnt carve like you would want.

North has had the same snow conditions as we but maintained to stay colder. I hope that the snow is better.

k you up to go o saturday? me and my pop are going

02 800 mc 151x16 .

Well Like I said, Sat I planned on going to ROndy for the Snowcross race. + The sun is suppose to be 100% better on Sunday.

So Sunday is my day. That way, atleast if its bad snow we will have decent light. I hate losing out on both.

haha you cant ride anyway LOL J/K :D Yes it really sucks right now, im going to lost lake (seward) on Sunday looks like thats the safest place to go right now that might actually have snow, if you wanna go let me know. SO far hatchers is still open, but sucks from the looks of it. Rode bauldy twice earlier in the week, good on sunday but loosing snow monday...by wednesday it was crap everywhere. got reports petersville was getting rain below 1300 feet and slush above that...so prob sucks up there too......not looking too good.

Just got word from some friends who went to petersville today. They said hard pack in the open areas and still kinda soft if you stay in or near the trees. Pretty much spring riding conditions. Said it wasn't worth going back to them. hope this helps guys.
