WTF CAT using junk aluminum bottom gears on the 16's

So I go to install the 21/49 gears my dealer ordered and notice they are the same steel gears same part # as the 2012-2015. The guy at Cat told my dealer these would work on the 16's. The stock top gear on the 16's is the same width tooth profile as the older 19T and 21T gears from 2012-2015, but has a different part # and is ever so slightly shorter tooth profile than the 19T gear from last years sled with silent chain. The 16 bottom gear has a different more round tooth profile on the 16's like a borg warner chain would use. The 50T from last year as you can see has a pointy tooth profile. The steel 49T used in 2012-2015 has a tooth profile somewhere in between the two. Both Cat 50t gears are aluminum. So I think Cat made these gears on the 16, not Borg Warner.

So what's the deal here. Can I use these 21/49 gears or is the cat rep retarded? Seems like I should just order these through Team to know I got the correct profile gears. Would be pissed to install this and have it fail because these parts don't match. I think this is a hyvo chain from what I remember seeing on the silent chain from last year, but don't have one to compare side by side to know for sure.

Someone check out a silent chain they have sitting around so we can compare.

$hit nevermind, Cat rep is a fvcking retard. No way these gears work. Put both 19/50 and 21/49 silent chain gears onto this hyvo chain and neither seat correctly. The 16 gears seat perfect with the chain.

Still pissed Cat used an aluminum bottom gear again. The worn 50T aluminum gear you see in the pic has 2 rides on it.

It's all Borg Warner chain and sprockets in a 16. I just ordered everything and t says Borg Warner right in the part description.

Also the Borg Warner chain has a round profile on the backside of the link where as the old 12-15 chain has a flat profile.

sno pro. i just ordered the 20t top and all the bw is still being held by cat.

they are if you check the short track. the stock EB 800's all have the aluminum bottom gear which is listed as a BG gear. I regeared mine taller and both gears came through in steel BG.

Store.arcticcat.com has a few 2016 models up. 2016 m6 141 snopro I think is what I looked up. 19/50 gearing.
