WTB: SLP Twins 03'Escape

Ive got the itch to put a set of twins on my sled. Rumor on the mtn. says SLP is easiest to keep tuned correctly. Someone can correct me if there is another better.

So I guess I'm looking for a smokin deal on a set of coated twins & race can. If blk, thats ok, I can have them coated locally. Spose an Avenger 2 would be in order as well.

I may possibly do some trading for my SLP Single , y-pipe & can (all coated) I have lots of other cool stuff to trade too if needed.

Let me know what you have & best deal , no junk please-----Proflow

Both of those pipes sound more ideal to me than what I was first looking for.
Reason being I want something that will bark hard. Now trying to find the best of the best is the question !

The CPI's making more power= yep, thats a good thing. maybe quirky to keep tuned ? I dunno.

The Aaen pipes if anything like their ATV rep. should be high quality build & not too quirky on the tune. Although maybe not squeezing for every ounce of h.p. to be a little more friendly. I dunno.

Guys, tell me about the coating on these pipes, can configuration ie: 2 into one or 2 singles. Any pissed off Wild Ape hammer dents from trying to save hood from igniting ? Flanges, springs, brkts, can, etc. all included ? EGT drilled ? Any related clutch parts ?

Sorry for so many questions , but I'm a gotta know & then execute kinda guy.

Thanks--Proflow

I have a set of SLP twins with the quiet can. The only thing I am looking for is a set of SLP race twins. I will put mine up for sale if I can find the race twins first. I can keep you posted. I want $350 plus shipping. They are the ceramic coated ones.

The CPI pipes that i have are just heat painted and come with flanges bolts and springs. There a twin pipes with seperate stingers but run out of the same hole.

I like my SLP twins they work great. I had CPI's on my 01' 800 they ran good also but were unbelievably loud imo I would go with the SLP's.

i have aaens that i've ran on an 03 800 for about 4 years. very easy to tune and rarely rejet. I'm asking $200 for them...

What finish is on those pipes ? Is the can 2into1 or 2 singles ?
Do you still have clutching & jetting for those pipes ? 3-5k is where I usually ride
Thanks--Proflow

the aaens are 2-2. individual pipes with their own small silencers. they are hi temp black painted. best way to contact me is PM...come with flanges etc. use your stock bolts and gaskets to mount up. can get you jetting and clutching specs that i ran... they are very friendly, and made good power. i'm willing to sacrifice 2 hp to make tuning easy and not finiky.... 2hp you will not notice between different brands of pipes. these sound great

I picked up a set of CPI twins locally for 200. I may still have an interest in the Aaen pipes though. I'll need to see how these tune.

Thanks--Proflow

alright, i've tried cpi and just couldn't get them to perform... i'll only run aaens from now on with my experiences. had them on my polaris, srx's, they just work... Make an offer and take them off my hands...
