WTB - Rear Rear Shock Absorber

Looking for a user Rear Rear shock. My one seems to just go flat and lose its compression after riding bumpy trails for a few K's. Rear end of tunnel sags 6 inches or so.

Somehow seems to "pump" itself back up again once in the mountains and off the constantly bumpy trail.

Rebuilding it or buying a new one is not worth it since the rest of the sled is so old, so just looking for a used one for now.

I still have this, Will look up price for shipping but is quite spendy to ship to Canada? Does anyone know of the least expensive way to send?

Thanks Mike

Hehe, Its gotta be cheaper than 400 bucks to rebuild one!!! :face-icon-small-ton

Ive had a pair of skis shipped up to me from the US for only 30-40 bucks. The shock should be about 20-30 max.

UPS is preferred, it only gets held up a few days at the border. USPS it gets held up 2 weeks!!! The price difference is usually only small.

You also need to find someone who has PayPal or get your own account setup so I can transfer the money!! :face-icon-small-hap

Do you have any other parts laying around or was this just leftover parts from your upgraded suspension? I have a few other bits and bobs I need to replace this summer.

The current shock part number is 0704-802 which shows its from a 2003 800 or 900 mountain cat. But im sure other part numbers would fit?

Found these from similar models, would they work with my 2003 1M?

1704-298 - 2005/2006 King Cat
1704-154 - 2004 King Cat
1704-153 - 2004 Mountain Cat
0704-529 - 2001/2002 Mountain Cat
0704-469 - 2000 Thunder Cat MC

400.00 to rebuild that shock is way to much , its only 390.00 to buy new. Shouldn't be more than 100.00 at the MOST to get it working again.

Also a rear Fox zero Pro will work off any M7 and it has the normal valving that increases pressure with compression, As the 1M does just the opposite.

Heh, thats Valley Moto for ya, they charge $120/h for all repairs. Said it would be 3 hours labour, 2 hours if I took the shock off myself. I sat there and went through the parts list with them for the rebuild kit and it was over 100 bucks for parts alone.

I know there are other places out there which are much cheaper, but the sled is old, so if I can find a used shock thats in good condition ill take that. No point buying new either.
